About
We’re a have begun this blog to document a dialogue and lifestyle experiments we have been pursuing for years already. We’re a community of creative, visionary friends in San Francisco seeking what it means to be love and to live our faith, and at times, lack thereof, in an urban, post-modern environment, rather than merely talk of faith and love yet exhibit little change in our lives.
We realize words are still the foundation for change as a thought must be expressed before it can take root and begin to grow. We are throwing seeds to the soil, knowing some will take root and flourish, others may impede, but all is worth pursuing for greater authenticity and fullness of life.
As is true in any journey worthwhile, as you progress you begin to see truth crying out to you from unexpected places. We name our dialogue “Signposts in a Strange Land” after Walker Percy’s book and Sam Phillips‘ song of the same name in which she sings:
“Logic dances you from here to there/ Not very far/ making sense can’t tell you/ where you are… I wanted to get lost and love the questions there/ Beauty and the truth/ I could breathe like air/ Then I finally found the signposts in a strange land“.
